Lauren and Markie
Lauren Ash Morgan, actress and member of SSC's board since 2011 is the founding co-artistic director for the newly created theater company Speech of Fire. She worked as the Artistic director for Seoul Shakespeare Company from 2014 until the end of 2019. In her role as the Artistic Director of SSC she also served as SSC's music director/composer and the company's text instructor. However, she mostly directed from within the actors' ensemble, during her last year she made her debut as a director (and lighting designer) with the company's King Lear. Markie Post......................Markie Post is a noted American actress known for her roles as the public defender Christine Sullivan in NBC's sitcom Night Court the bail bondswoman Terri Michaels in ABC's drama series The Fall Guy and Georgie Anne Lahti Hartman in CBS's sitcom Hearts Afire. Other than acting she has also worked on a number of reality series. She and her sisters were nurtured under the guidance of her scientific father Richard F. Post, as well as poet Marylee Post in Walnut Creek. She was a student at Las Lomas High School where she participated in cheerleading. Post briefly attended Pomona College before graduating from Lewis & Clark College. Post was previously married to Stephen Knox. Michael A. Ross is her husband from 1982. The couple has two daughters. Post's role as a great mother, wife, and actress is a wonderful example for Hollywood.
